  1. Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions extend only to those items purchased on www.tcl.co.za as owned and managed by Tecsareco Pty Ltd a company incorporated in South Africa (registration number: 2017/452901/07). All enquiries can be directed to info@tecsareco.co.za.

  1. Definitions
    1. “Purchaser” means the consumer who concludes a purchase on tcl.co.za
    2. “Tecsareco” means the Tecsareco Pty Ltd the company with registration number 2017/452901/07, the owner of tcl.co.za
    3. “Contractor/Installer” means a company or person approved by Tecsareco to install its air-conditioning units or systems


  1. Payment and Purchasing

We accept payments via the PayFast payment gateway; we do however not accept cheque payments. Please note that funds need to be cleared in our account before goods are despatched.

  1. Delivery

We only deliver within the borders of South Africa. We will deliver the product to your chosen delivery address and not to an installation company. Our shipping terms are estimated at between 5 to 10 business days depending on the location. Please email at info@tcl.co.za  or phone us on 011 613 6551 for any questions related to delivery. Customers must please ensure someone is available to accept delivery. Please thoroughly inspect the goods for any damage acknowledging receipt. The signed delivery notice acknowledges you have checked the contents of the delivery and confirm its correctness. Please be aware that if the delivery document is signed received in “Good Order or Condition” the liability of any damages passes to you. Please do not accept the package if there is evidence of tampering or damage to it. We are not responsible for damages caused by third-party courier companies. We can only deliver to physical addresses and not to a PO Box address.

  1. Returns Policy

We strongly advise our customers to correctly size the items before ordering; please make use of our sizing page for guidance. If you are unsure on sizing the correct system for your requirements please contact your preferred contractor/installer from the list on the website.

You have 5 working days from receipt of the delivery to inspect the items and confirm it is what you have ordered. If it is not, please contact Tecsareco on info@tcl.co.za and we will collect the item from you, alternatively, you may also request the correctly ordered item be delivered to you. Should only a return be requested a full refund will be made to you per Tecsareco’s refund policy.

Returns will only be accepted if the product is in its original packaging and unused with all manuals and boxed items included. Once used the item is considered second hand and except for faults resulting from faulty manufacturing cannot be returned. Except for returns due to factory faults, risk and costs of returns are at the purchaser’s expense. We will require the proof of purchase from yourself to process the return and refund.

  1. Cancellations and cooling off period

Orders may be cancelled and returned to Tecsareco within 10 working days of purchase with all packaging, manuals and labels included. If the packaging has been damaged Tecsareco may levy a reasonable charge to replace the packaging and refund the customer less this amount, if the item has been used the order cannot be cancelled or the item returned. If returned under conditions of

cancellations and cooling off the purchaser will be responsible to pay for shipping costs. Tecsareco will process a refund per its refund policy once the items are received back into its warehouse.

  1. Replacements under warranty

The purchaser should alert the installer when they believe an item installed is faulty while the product is under warranty. The installer will conduct an assessment and alert Tecsareco to the problem or faulty unit. The unit shall only be returned to Tecsareco by the installer if the problem or fault cannot be repaired with replacement parts.  Should the fault be found to be a factory fault, Tecsareco will provide replacement parts; should the repair not be possible with replacement parts Tecsareco will replace the item at its expense. Tecsareco may request proof of servicing by an approved contractor/installer on the items as prescribed prior to supplying a complete replacement product or parts, if the item has not been correctly serviced the fault may be determined to not be a factory fault.

  1. Privacy Policy

Every reasonable step is taken to protect the privacy of users. Tecsareco does not disclose buyer’s information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item.

  4. From time to time we may inform purchasers of any special offers if agreed to by the purchaser


  1. Warranty

All products carry a 5-year limited warranty. For the warranty to remain valid the units must be installed and serviced annually by an approved contractor or installer.


  1. Important information on Warranty.

Warranty will only be valid if the products are installed by a qualified Tecsareco approved contractor/installer. Please see our contractors page for a list of approved contractors/installers in your area. Should the unit not be installed by an approved contractor/installer, any repair and replacement costs will be the responsibility of the purchaser. For the warranty to remain valid the units must be serviced once a year at least and if the approved contractor suggests more services due to the environment then it must be serviced according to their suggestion. The purchaser will be responsible to maintain such proof and present it upon request. A successful warranty claim will require the proof of purchase, the details of the installing contractor, and proof of service history.

  1. Variation

Tecsareco may, at its sole discretion, change this agreement or part thereof without notice.

  1. Pricing

All pricing quoted on this website is inclusive of vat unless otherwise specified and exclusive of any installation costs. We encourage you to make use of a contractor/installer from the list of approved contractors/installers on our website.
